LEKS International

LEKS International is an idea for an educational app that we created as an assignment for our UX design subject. This app was created during lockdowns due to COVID and majorly focuses on providing people who strive to learn with educational resources that majorly focus on design. This was created as part of a UI design project at RMIT University.

The aim behind the idea of this project was to create an app that could educate individuals during the time of COVID & lockdowns. This app would help them stay at home and gain knowledge and certification about a particular course (ex: graphic design). The major part of this idea was to create something that would help people improve their employability prospects.

I worked on this project with three other individuals and I was in charge of the UI of the application. Our project evolved and improved the better we understood our audience's economical situation through our quantitative research, empathise with our audience's coping mechanisms through qualitative interviews and finally improve the flow of our application with our user testing.

Each assignment has built ideas from the previous. Our research has amalgamated into an application that should improve the mental well-being of arts workers by maintaining their working schedule, improving confidence in their skills, and overall decreasing their likelihood of falling into long-term unemployment.
